Content campaign drives 21% increase in on-site engagement

Meet the client

This Oregon tourism organization is committed to engaging visitor experiences through comprehensive information, resources and trip planning tools. Their mission focuses on inspiring travel while showcasing the state’s vibrant culture, natural beauty and community spirit that make Oregon truly exceptional.

The challenge

Building on our established partnership, we approached the challenge of amplifying their experiences-focused messaging across multiple channels while breaking through the clutter that travelers face daily. They needed a strategy that would reach audiences where they naturally engage and drive concrete results to key content destinations. Building on previous campaign success, they were looking to drive even stronger engagement and performance year over year.

The strategy

Our approach maximized reach and engagement across selected channels while building on proven tactics.

The 4-week campaign focused on strategic display, social advertising and compelling sponsored content hosted on HereisOregon.com. With print and newsletter distribution, we ensured coverage through multiple mediums. This allowed us to connect with audiences whether they’re scrolling social media, reading their Sunday paper or actively seeking travel inspo online.

The results

There’s something special about Oregon that makes people want to linger, explore and share their discoveries with others. This campaign captured that essence perfectly.

In just one month, we reached 176,840 readers through print and 58,911 through social media. Digital content sparked 6,606 clicks, likes and shares from people who felt compelled to interact with what they found. The sponsored content performed especially well with a 196% increase in article views compared to last year. These efforts drove meaningful improvements in how audiences engage with content on the client’s site, with visitors spending more quality time exploring Oregon’s offerings.
